Accomodation
The appartments are fully furnished and equipped with modern pieces of furniture and a lot of appliances including Toshiba Philips LCD TV sets 82 cm (DVD integrated), Whirpool air conditioners, wi-fi, refrigerators, dishwasher, deep freezers, anti-bugs rolling nets on all windows, shower bath-tubs, oven, bbq grill and parking lot.
The appartments are situated in the center of the small city of Vir, 10 min on foot to the main square and the main city beach. Distance to the superstore and bakery is 50-100 m (1-2 min on foot).
There are only 500 m to the main city sand beach (the biggest on the island). The appartments have their own parking place..
The sea at the main beach of Vir is shallow with fine sand bottom. The beach is surrounded by a number of caffes and children's playing grounds (with trampoline, chutes, ice-cream parlours etc.) to the comfort and fun to the kids and their parents.

Vir is one of approximately 300 islands and islets of Zadar archipelago, situated in the Sea of Vir in NW part of Dalmatia. The distance to Zadar is 25 km. The seaboard of Vir amounts to 31,43 km.
The island of Vir A beautiful bridge (no paytoll exacted) connects the island with the mainland, so it takes little time and effort to get to some of the picturesque sighseeing points or beaches in the vicinity and come back at will.
Excursions The coastline of the island is full of wonderful bays and natural sandy beaches suitable for swimming, small boat mooring etc..
A peculiarty is the islet of Školjić, situated in the immediate vicinity of the bridge that connects Vir with the mainland. The islet is covered with thick pine forest and boasts a long sandy beach. Yearly Vir enjoys 300 sunny days, while pleasant breeze from Velebit mountain cools the temperature during summer nights which makes the island one of the favourite sites for the surfers and yachters.
